Who we are

This website is run by Splintr Solutions Ltd ("Splintr", "we", "us"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17509678, registered office 2 Frederick Street, London, WC1X 0ND. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@splintr.io.

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us when you contact us by email or through our contact form. This is usually:

• your name and the company you work for;
• your work email address;
• anything you include in your message.

Please don't send us sensitive personal information or confidential business data through the contact form. If we go on to work together, we will agree in writing how any data you share is handled.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to arrange and hold conversations about working together and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and in running our business. If we enter into a contract with your organisation, we may also process information to perform that contract.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and our email: Cloudflare hosts the website and delivers contact form messages to our inbox, and Google provides our email. They process information only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google to deliver them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, and then delete it. If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work together, we delete it within two years.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it and to ask us to transfer it. To use any of these rights, email info@splintr.io. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
